Wildwood is a liberal arts training center for horses and riders in the English riding disciplines. Trainer Jeannette Ford uses her background in dressage and eventing to teach horses and riders to be safe, competent, thinking participants in riding.

Jeannette teaches riders on their horses or hers, at their farm or hers Wildwood has an assortment of horses and ponies suitable for a wide range of skills. We are happy to teach beginners, and also have show quality experienced mounts for students ready for competitions.

She starts young horses, and  travels to farms in the Triangle area to teach and train.

We welcome riders who wish to compete, as well as recreational riders who wish to increase their general horsemanship skills.

Nestled between Durham and Chapel Hill, our all weather ring receives winter sun and summer shade, and we have almost 60 acres of wooded trails and pasture for riding over terrain.
